This species,quite attractive when in bloom,does not differ much in appearance from other Gomesa orchids .its pseudobulbs are up to 2.4 in /6 cm tall ,round and flattened ,with sharp edges ,and ended with three long leaves. The shape and length of the inflorescene is reminiscent of the previous species . The whitish tepals are wavy ,the markedly arched lip has two comp -like shapes at the base . The plants cultivation demands are not very high ;grow it epiphytically ,providing the usual amount of water ,good ventilation and maximum amount of diffused light . The species usually blooms in the early months of spring and has been discovered in the Brazilian Rainforests .
