The willingly branching soft stems produce numerous aeriel roots and bear on their ends single , 1-in /2.5 -cm- long flowers with a showy ,reversed heart-shaped lip colored in brown-and -red . N. porpax is no cultivation stumper -it will settle for semi-shade and fairly frequent misting . It blooms in late summer and in the fall.
